The Finish - Victoria Square, Adelaide, South Australia

The 2007 Panasonic World Solar Challenge will once again make its finish line in the heart of Victoria Square, Adelaide. Spectators are urged to join Panasonic World Solar Challenge participants in this City precinct to celebrate their achievement and view some spectacular technological innovation.

Victoria Square forms the centre of the city's grid of one square mileages. In recognition of Kaurna country the area is known as Tarndanyangga, officially referred to as Victoria Square/Tarndanyangga.

The Panasonic World Solar Challenge arch will be set, and the finish line will be ready and waiting from the morning of Thursday 25 October 2007, with the leading solar cars expecting to arrive later that afternoon. Cars will be on display for viewing from this time until Sunday 28 October 2007.

Cars will progressively arrive each day, making there something new to see, making this area a hub of activity. This is a FREE display area for spectators to interact with visiting teams from around the globe.

Catering stands will be located within Victoria Square for spectators and event staff to purchase food, cold drinks, coffee and ice cream. Catering will be available Thursday 25 to Saturday 27 October from 8:30am - 5:00pm and Sunday 28 October from 8:30am - 3:00pm. All proceed will go towards KidsFutureKids, a community profit organisation who are committed to assisting Children and Youth from disadvantaged background to maximise their potential.
